Town of Morningside - Code Enforcement Issues

The Town of Morningside is beginning a strict enforcement of all town ordinances to ensure a clean and safe enviroment for all of our citizens to live, work and play. Homes and businesses that are not properly maintained or are not in compliance with Town, County and/or State code ordinances, bring down the overall appearance and safety of our town. Homes that are not maintained and that have the appearance that no one is living there, can invite crime or the risk of theft and "break-in's".

The safety of our citizens and the cleanliness of our town is the number one priority for the Morningside Police Department and the Code Enforcement Division.

If you should have any questions, call the Morningside Police Department at (301) 736-7400

Thank you in advance for keeping the Town of Morningside a safer and cleaner place to live, work and play.

  1. The house at 4400 Morgan Rd. has been in total disrepair for years. There is black plastic where a window should be. The fence is broken down, and the grass is high. This house has been run into by automobiles at least twice, and neither time has it been repaired. Seeing this site constantly when you come around the corner on Larkspur has remained an eyesore. Please do something about it. It's been years!
